Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre is seeking an experienced Producer Public Programs for a 12 month maternity leave placement.  The purpose of this role is to lead, develop and present a wide range of innovative and interpretive education programs and publications, public programs and events that will cultivate the interests of new and existing audiences that visit the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre and engages audiences across the Liverpool LGA.  The position works closely with and supervises a small team.

The Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre is a cultural facility of Liverpool City Council. The Centre boasts six galleries and two performance spaces including a 322-seat theatre and a flexible performance space which can seat up to 100 people, a ceramics studio, artist studio and residency, kid’s studio and kid’s gallery as well as a fully licensed restaurant and Bar. 

 

What does the right candidate need to possess?

As the Producer Public Programs, you will have the capability to mentor and support educators in the delivery of innovating education and public programs that engage with a wide variety of audiences including children, families, seniors, youth, access and adult audiences.

It is essential that you are tertiary qualified in Art Education or Arts Administration with demonstrated experience delivering quality public programs.

Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant.
