This position leads a small team to ensure the delivery of an innovative, inclusive and progressive, best practice curatorial program in accordance with Liverpool Council and CPAC strategic, business and cultural plans. It also oversees the stewardship of the Liverpool City Council Art Collection in keeping with industry standards and oversee initiatives to deepen engagement with the collection, both physically and online.

 

The role requires you to lead and manage the curatorial development and implementation of an exceptional and inclusive program of visual and multi-arts exhibitions and engagement experiences, including overseeing art prize exhibitions and travelling exhibitions including exhibition logistics and planning.

 

This role provides an exciting and ever-changing work life in a busy, creative environment, leading the Curatorial & Collections Team, with a strong focus on ensuring the Casula Powerhouse exhibition program appeals to a wide range of audiences both locally and beyond.

 

Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant.
